BSIFF Appoints Celebrated Filmmaker Kofi Asamoah As Ghana Ambassador.

The Black Star International Film Festival (BSIFF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kofi Asamoah as Ghana Ambassador for the Festival.
A respected filmmaker, producer and creative leader, Kofi Asamoah will play a key role in strengthening engagement between the Festival and Ghana’s filmmaking community. In this capacity, he will support industry outreach, media engagement, stakeholder relations and community participation, with a special focus on Kumasi and the Ashanti Region as BSIFF prepares for its 11th edition.

As Ghana Ambassador, Kofi will work closely with the Festival to ensure that local filmmakers, creatives, institutions and audiences are actively involved in shaping and participating in this year’s celebration of African cinema.
Speaking on his appointment, Kofi Asamoah said:
“I am honoured to serve as Ghana Ambassador for the Black Star International Film Festival. BSIFF has played an important role in championing African cinema, and I look forward to working with filmmakers, media, creative communities and audiences across Ghana to help make this year’s festival a truly impactful and memorable experience.”
